Winter Fragrance Guide: Warm, Sweet & Long-Lasting Scents
Azlan·10 JUL 2026·1 min read

Cold weather mutes fragrance, so winter is the time for rich, warm, projecting scents that would be too much in summer.
What to look for
Amber, vanilla, oud, cinnamon, dates and tobacco all bloom beautifully in the cold. Think cosy, sweet and a little intense.
Three to reach for
- Khamrah Lattafa — boozy dates and vanilla, pure winter comfort.
- 9PM Afnan — apple, cinnamon and warm amber for everyday cold days.
- Maison Alhambra Baroque Rouge 540 — a luminous amber for dressed-up evenings.
Wearing tip
Because cold air suppresses projection, you can apply a touch more than in summer — and reapply to a scarf for a scent trail that follows you indoors.
Bundle up, spray generously, and let the season do the rest.
